Some like it dark
I like walking around. I like photography. I like making websites for the pictures I take while walking around.
I find it hard to describe my own photography, but I can try to tell you what I look for in a picture. I'm intrigued by the contrast between light and dark and the calm, mysterious atmosphere you can only find in empty streets at night.
I wanted the design of this website to support my pictures, not compete with them for attention. My aim was to keep it simple, but not bland, and to add a few bold accents, such as the day|night animation on the front page or the thick black borders around the pictures (which is how I like to have them framed).
